I’ve lived on a 300-acre farm in northern Lycoming County my entire life. In March 1972 I bought my first motorcycle, a
Honda CT-70, from Bob’s Cycle Shop in Sayre. I put over 10,000 miles on gravel roads with those little tires; it was as tough
as nails. Over the years I’ve had a Honda CB-360, and CX 500, a Kawasaki F-250 (which, off-road, put me in the hospital
twice) and a 2007 Triumph Rocket III. I still own a 1969 Honda CB-350 and a 1979 Yamaha 250 trails bike. Growing up, I
never understood why people liked their Harleys so.
I rented a Road Glide in Florida in the summer of ’16 and knew after that day a Harley Davidson would be my next bike.
Later that year I retired as a Construction Manager for PennDOT after more than 34 years of service.
In February 2017, Brenda and I bought a 2017 Road Glide Ultra w/ stage IV from Eisenhauers. We were welcomed ‘to the
family’ that day. That wasn’t a joke, it really is a family and it’s great.
I get it now.
